Meet Dr. Evan Zeh

Being an orthodontist is more than straightening teeth and correcting bites: it’s about transformation, inside and out. Every day I have the opportunity to make a difference in our patients’ lives, from feeling self-conscious about their appearance to feeling confident and smiling. I enjoy the bonds that form during treatment. Seeing a patient regularly, and spending time talking and sharing stories allows me to get to know each of our patients and their families, as well as their interests when they aren’t in the orthodontic chair.

We have a wonderful team at Zeh Orthodontics. Each of them has been through the orthodontic experience, some on their own, some with their children. This gives them insight into what our patients and parents experience and allows them to clearly answer questions and provide encouragement.

Orthodontics is constantly changing, and the arrival of new technologies, appliances, and techniques mean more and better options for patients. Throughout the year I complete many hours of continuing education, as well as attend meetings and lectures. This keeps me current on developments and allows me to determine what does and doesn’t work.

Additionally, I’m an active member of several professional orthodontic and dental organizations. These memberships allow me to learn from the leading researchers and practitioners in the field and from my fellow orthodontists, too. I am a member of the:

I attended Bellarmine University for my Bachelor’s degree. I then moved to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). I stayed at UK to complete a three-year orthodontic residency and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree.

I’ve lived in Louisville for most of my life, except when I was in Lexington for my dental and orthodontic education. When not in the office, I’m usually spending time with my family. We enjoy going on walks and to the park together. I also enjoy working on cars or out in the yard, watching sports and listening to music.
